Scott MalpassScott is Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at the University of Notre Dame, responsible for investment of the University’s endowment, working capital, pension and life income assets of almost $7 billion. Scott is a concurrent assistant professor of finance in the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame. Scott serves on the investment advisory committee for Major League Baseball and for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).
Connie Mick, PhD.Connie is an Assistant Director of the Center for Social Concerns and Director for Social Concerns Seminars and Community-Based Learning at the University of Notre Dame. She co-directs the Poverty Studies Interdisciplinary Minor and teaches community-based courses focused on social concerns in local and global communities. Connie joined the Center for Social Concerns after teaching and administering in Notre Dame’s Writing Program and Writing Center, and continues to research the role of writing in the pedagogy of social change.

He has extensive experience in both the for profit and social sector. He graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame and received his masters degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago.
